Our Ministries

At Gladstone Baptist we believe that ministry is using whatever God has given us to serve him and the needs of others. We minister in 3 directions: to the Lord, to believers and to non-believers. The goal of our ministry is to help others grow.

Please contact us for if you would like more information about any of these ministries.

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith." Ephesians 4:11-13.

Celebration Services

Worship is a lifestyle of relating to God. It is our human response to God's revelation of Himself. We believe that man's highest call is to worship God; we are committed to worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). We also believe that we must worship from at least two sides – adoration (giving praise and glory) and service.

We want our worship to be inclusive, contemporary, relevant and vibrant and avoiding extremes. We acknowledge the validity and the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in Corinthians 12:4-30 and Romans 12:6-8 . However, we do not encourage the public use of the gifts of tongues in our worship services.

Prayer Chain

The Prayer chain operates to lift specific and immediate needs to God in prayer and petition. It is activated by either calling the prayer chain convener or the church office. Several prayer chains exist to cover both day and night prayer requests.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

Intercessory prayer gets to the heart of our most powerful possibility as “partners with God.” While intercession is certainly not the only thing that every one of us as believers are called to, it is definitely one of the foremost and primary assignments for our pursuit on which God expresses His heart.
